Download the needed packages:

$ wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.10.49-saucy/linux-headers-3.10.49-031049_3.10.49-031049.201407171935_all.deb
$ wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.10.49-saucy/linux-image-3.10.49-031049-generic_3.10.49-031049.201407171935_i386.deb
$ wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.10.49-saucy/linux-headers-3.10.49-031049-generic_3.10.49-031049.201407171935_i386.deb

Install Kernel 3.10.49:

$ sudo dpkg -i linux-image-3.10*.deb linux-headers-3.10*.deb

Optional, to remove the kernel do:

$ sudo apt-get remove linux-headers-3.10* linux-image-3.10*

Download the needed packages:

$ wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.10.49-saucy/linux-headers-3.10.49-031049_3.10.49-031049.201407171935_all.deb
$ wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.10.49-saucy/linux-headers-3.10.49-031049-generic_3.10.49-031049.201407171935_amd64.deb
$ wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.10.49-saucy/linux-image-3.10.49-031049-generic_3.10.49-031049.201407171935_amd64.deb

Install Kernel 3.10.49:

$ sudo dpkg -i linux-image-3.10*.deb linux-headers-3.10*.deb

Optional, to remove the kernel do:

$ sudo apt-get remove linux-headers-3.10* linux-image-3.10*
